Solidarity with Pipeline Resistance in Appalachia
This art was made by a collective of artists in so-called Minnesota in solidarity with those fighting the Mountain Valley Pipeline in Appalachia. Many of us started making movement art during the movement to Stop Line 3, and have since been contributing our artwork and energy to movements all across Turtle Island. We recognize the importance of solidarity, and hear its call to oppose not just pipelines, but all extractive industries that threaten land, air, water and people around the country and the planet.
We encourage all who engage with our artwork to act in support and solidarity with those putting their lives and freedom at risk for our collective future, and those battling extractive industries on the ground.
Our fight will not be done until all pipelines and fossil fuel infrastructure are obsolete.
We send our love, our solidarity, and our artwork to all you beautiful land defenders.
